Με την ευκαιρία της Διεθνούς Ημέρας Αγνοουμένων, στις 30 Αυγούστου, το TRUTH NOW είχε διοργανώσει δημοσιογραφική διάσκεψη στην οποία ένα από τα θέματα προς συζήτηση ήταν η κύρωση της Σύμβασης για τους Αγνοούμενους. Το TRUTH NOW μετά από επιστολή, κάλεσε την Κυβέρνηση να προχωρήσει άμεσα στην κατάθεση Κυρωτικού Νομοσχεδίου στην Βουλή έτσι ώστε να ψηφιστεί το συντομότερο δυνατόν. Η ερώτηση κατατέθηκε με επιτυχία σήμερα στη Βουλή των Αντιπροσώπων και θετικές εξελίξεις αναμένονται.

On the occasion of the International Day of the Disappeared, on the 30th of August, TRUTH NOW had organised a press conference, where one of the main matters discussed was the ratification of the Convention for the Missing Persons. TRUTH NOW, after sending a letter, invited the Government to immediately proceed with the submission of a Ratification Bill to the House of Representatives so as to be voted upon the soonest possible. The question was successfully submitted to the House of Representatives today and positive developments will be expected.
