Truth Now Proposal for the Creation of a Truth Commission
The setting up of a Truth Commission on a bi-communal level as a result of a possible broadening of the
mandate of the Committee on Missing Persons (CMP) to strengthen efforts to establish the truth and promote
the right to truth as a social and an individual right. It is time to create the basis for the establishment
of the “historical truth” and at the same time ensure that the relatives of the missing find out about it.
