Το TRUTH NOW παρακολουθεί τις εξελίξεις αναφορικά με τα ερωτήματα που έχουν κατατεθεί στην Βουλή των Αντιπροσώπων, σε συνέχεια της δημοσιογραφικής διάσκεψης που οργάνωσε και αφορούν την κύρωση της Διεθνούς Σύμβασης για τους Αγνοούμενους και την δημιουργία «Επιτροπής Αλήθειας». Παρατίθεται σχετικό ερώτημα που υποβλήθηκε από τον Βουλευτή κο Γιώργο Περδίκη καθώς και η σχετική απάντηση από το Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών. Το TRUTH NOW σημειώνει το γεγονός ότι η πρόταση για δημιουργία «Επιτροπής Αλήθειας» λαμβάνεται υπόψη από την Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία και ενθαρρύνει την συνέχιση διαλόγου επί της συγκεκριμένης πρότασης. TRUTH NOW follows the developments with regard to the questions submitted to the House of Representatives, following the press conference organized, on the occasion of the International Day for the Disappeared, concerning the ratification of the International Convention for the Missing and the creation of a “Truth Commission”. Cited below is a question tabled by the Member of the Parliament, Mr George Perdikis as well as the response by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. TRUTH NOW notes the fact that the proposal for the creation of a “Truth Commission” is taken into consideration by the Republic of Cyprus and encourages the continuation of the dialogue on this proposal.
